Welcome to Quinn's Sax Shack!
The above picture is a Selmer
Soprano Saxophone (Superaction
80 series II model). Soprano Saxophones, because of their shape, are often
mistaken for a Clarinet when seen, however, there are integral differences
between the two instruments. Clarinets are usually made of wood or plastic,
while a Saxophone is made of Brass. While both are Reed instruments, clarinet
reeds are considerably wider to accomadate the wider mouthpiece. The Main
difference however, is in the sound. A Clarinet has a much "woodier" sound
to it, while a Soprano Saxophone is brighter.

This section is dedicated
to a friend of mine, whose theory on space is that it doesn't exist. When
I asked where the stars were located, she informed me that they were in
the sky with the sun and the moon. Therefore, this section is affectionatly
called Sky Trek. I'm an avid fan of Star Trek, with my favorite
character being DS9's ruthless Ferringi, Quark. I find the
286 Rules of Accquisition particualry humorous. If you wish to veiw them,
